Alexandra Paul Net Worth $4 Million

Alexandra Paul is a daughter of Mark, an investment banker, and Sarah Paul, a social worker, and grew up in Cornwall, Connecticut, along with Caroline, her identical twin sister, and younger brother Jonathan. She was educated at the Cornwall Consolidated School, and then at the Groton School in Massachusetts, before being accepted into Stanford University, but opted to pursue her acting career instead.

Paul debuted in the TV movie called “Paper Dolls” (1982) before played in John Carpenter’s horror “Christine” (1983), and in “American Flyers” (1985) starring Kevin Costner. By the end of the ‘80s, Alexandra had appeared in roles in “8 Million Ways to Die” (1986) alongside Jeff Bridges and Rosanna Arquette, and in “Dragnet” (1987) with Dan Aykroyd, Tom Hanks, and Christopher Plummer. From 1992 to 1997, Paul played Stephanie Holden in 93 episodes of the TV series “Baywatch”, the role that earned her a lot of money and gained her considerable popularity in the ‘90s. She continued with “Detonator” (1993) starring Pierce Brosnan and Patrick Stewart, “Piranha” (1995), and “Detonator II: Night Watch” (1995). Paul ended the decade with parts in “Spy Hard” (1996) alongside Leslie Nielsen, Nicollette Sheridan, and Charles Durning, and in eight episodes of Golden Globe Award-nominated series “Melrose Place” (1999). Her net worth was rising steadily.

During the 2000s, Alexandra appeared in numerous TV movies and series, but failed to achieve any notable success. Some of her movies since the start of new millennium have been “Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding” (2003) alongside David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, and Michael Bergin, “Family of Four” (2009), and “Benny Bliss and the Disciples of Greatness” (2009). Paul also played in “In My Sleep” (2010), “Love at the Christmas Table” (2012), and most recently in “Dirty” (2016) and “Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens” (2016). She is currently filming “Wood Floors”, “The B Team”, and “The Anchor”.

Regarding her personal life, Alexandra Paul married Ian Murray in 2000 but has apparently decided not to have children. She has been a vegetarian since 1977, and vegan since 2010. Paul is a well-known animal rights, environmental, peace, and gay rights activist, and in 2005, she received the ACLU’s 2005 Activist of the Year Award.
