Colum Mackenzie, formerly known as Colum Mac Campbell Mackenzie, was a member of the Mackenzie Chieftaincy clan when he was born in 1693. Of his two siblings, he was the older. Colum was appointed long-term chief of the Mackenzie clan to command his men and women.
